Hello and welcome!
I am truly delighted to have you here.
My name is Suzanne, and I am proud to call Acadiana my home. I do this for my clients, but most importantly my family. My favorite title is Wife and Mom/Nanny. I have the most beautiful family I adore. Can you guess my next favorite title? Yeap, LMT and Doula. As a licensed massage therapist, registered yoga teacher, doula and reiki practitioner, I am passionate about wellness and the outdoors. Prior to founding Lafayette Massage, I dedicated my career to the business sector. While I found fulfillment in that world, I realized my true calling lies in connecting with people and fostering a sense of humanity—values that resonate deeply with me. Growing up under the guidance of my grandmother, who was a traiteur, I was inspired to create a restorative clinic and spa that reflects my commitment to holistic well-being.
At Lafayette Massage, I am excited to support you on your journey toward self-love and healing. Our space is designed with you in mind, grounded in integrity, professionalism, and trust. We offer a range of services aimed at restoring health and balance through expert massage techniques.
I specialize in deep tissue, clinical, and sports massage, particularly for athletes and those dealing with chronic pain. My heart goes out to clients facing chronic pain; I understand the physical limitations as well as the emotional challenges it brings. Through clinical and sports massage, I strive to enhance athletic performance, facilitate faster recovery, and improve overall mobility. I also provide support and empowerment to expecting mommas.
My commitment extends beyond simply filling my schedule with clients. I aim to provide exceptional service that ensures you receive the best value for your investment. To uphold my dedication to professionalism and excellence, I completed a 900-hour instructional program, exceeding Louisiana’s requirement of 500 hours. I am also committed to ongoing education, consistently pursuing more than the required 12 CEUs each year.
Currently, I am enrolled in an orthopedic and rehabilitative massage program with Whitney Lowe, a respected author and practitioner in our field. I am also studying functional neuromyofascial work and FSM under Shannon Goossen. Additionally, I am studying under Dr. Steven Weiniger, an internationally recognized expert in posture correction techniques. His training equips me to help clients maintain mobility and enhance their quality of life as they age.
I invite you to contact me today to embark on a journey of restoration in a space thoughtfully designed for your well-being!
